Cranberry-Orange Turkey Breast

This is a delightfully sweet and flavorful way to cook a turkey breast. Serve with brown or wild rice.

¼ cup (80 g) orange marmalade

1 pound (455 g) whole berry cranberry sauce

2 teaspoons (8 g) orange peel, grated

3 pounds (1/3 kg) turkey breast

Combine marmalade, cranberries, and peel in a bowl. Place the turkey breast in the slow cooker and pour half the orange-cranberry mixture over the turkey. Cover and cook on low 7 to 8 hours or on high 3½ to 4 hours until turkey juices run clear. Add remaining half of orange-cranberry mixture for the last half hour of cooking. Remove turkey to warm platter and allow to rest for 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with orange-cranberry sauce.
